and now that you’re here
I feel complete. I long for the work hours to pass me by so I can open the door and see your smiling face. I know I’ve done right in many ways to receive such a blessed little one; one who is always content and most of all, very handsome. 5 months have really flown by…thank you for making me the happiest mother of all.
mommy and daddy loves you.

breast infection
Sunday night- hard painful lump on right breast. I told my husband that I was feeling cold—ended up with the chills, fever, throbbing migraine, and a painful breast! I was hoping that D would wake up to feed so that I could relieve the engorgement but he already sleeps through the night. If I were home, I would have used the breast pump to help with the pain. Thankfully, my father in law had some ibuprofen. I felt like puking after I swallowed two. Not only that, my mouth was so dry and my lips were chapped the next morning. I barely had the appetite to eat on Monday morning.
Tuesday was okay but I was so warm and still felt a migraine. My breast was tender with redness. I went to urgent care and was prescribed a 7 day antibiotic. It is safe to breastfeed with this antibiotic. They taste like fart!
Today, my breast was itchy and still painful. You know how when babies are sick, their mouths blister? Well, that happened to me too. =(
But! this is not going to discourage me from breastfeeding. I love breastfeeding.
